Prepare for the Pilgrimage
Make sure your Passport is Valid
Passports must be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will reenter the United States after the Pilgrimage has ended and for the entire period of the visitor's extended stay. This means that to go on our Journey without any extension, your documents must be valid through April 20, 2028.
Acquire Travel Visas
As of January 2025, the United Kingdom has implemented an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)—a digital pre-clearance system similar to the United States’ ESTA. Therefore, you will be required to apply for a United Kingdom visa to attend this trip. Rest assured that GiGi’s Journeys is working hard to ensure that all necessary Travel Documents and Visas are acquired by each traveler.
The best way to acquire the necessary Travel Visa is through the official United Kingdom Governmentwebsite or app. We suggest you download and register through the app, as the sign up process will be easier to complete on a cellular device, and having it on your phone will guarentee easy access throughout your trip.
